Jennifer is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor, trained in EMDR, with a Master’s of Science in Mental Health and Marriage and Family Counseling from Barry University. Jennifer finds joy in working alongside others, helping clients overcome personal challenges and enjoy more balanced and fulfilling lives. Her approach is honest, nonjudgmental, and empathetic, helping clients safely and comfortably explore their issues and supporting them to create and master healthier and more productive solutions.
Jennifer specializes in working with multiculturally diverse populations, offering support for young adults and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief, trauma, life transitions, relational challenges, and substance abuse. Jennifer’s therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from modalities that include EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative, Bowenian Systems Theory, and Mindfulness among others to ensure that every session is of value. She tailors her techniques to meet the specific needs of each client, providing holistic and personalized assistance on their journey to healing and well-being.
