I strive to be able to provide individuals seeking therapy with a safe, non – judgmental space to unpack and process life’s events. I’m here to support my clients on their journey of life by meeting them right where they are, while providing them with the tools they need to help them achieve their full potential and reach their goals. I enjoy using a variety of different therapeutic modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy as I do not believe in a “cookie cutter” approach, as one size “does not” fit all. I believe in tailoring an individual’s care to best meet their individual needs by creating space for collaboration and feedback. I am also able to provide faith-based counseling services to clients who ask and are comfortable through integrating spiritual components from either a shared Christian perspective, or a client’s preferred spiritual or expressive background.
I graduated in 2017 from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and have been working in the mental health field since 2015 in various clinical settings in Florida, Oregon, and Idaho. I have experience working with substance use, eating disorders, and severe mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, severe depression, anxiety, low self – worth, self – esteem issues, gender identity, and various forms of trauma. I have worked in all levels of care including residential facilities, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient (OP), as well as coordinating a medication assisted treatment program (MAT) which has helped make me well diverse in a growing field. And as I continue to learn and evolve in my field one of my career goals is to become a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS). In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two children. My clients would describe me as warm, friendly, relatable, open – minded, non – judgmental, validating, encouraging, and supportive. l have a heart for God and a heart to help the hurting. I look forward to taking this step of faith with you as you begin to walk on a new journey to find more hope, peace, joy, and freedom from all of your pain, and suffering.
