Telisa Hayden is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who began her quest to meet challenges addressing mental health issues in 2016 with experience in treating various mental health disorders within diverse populations. Telisa’s personal and professional journey allowed her to gain insight into the significance of empathy and compassion while providing a space for non[1]judgment. Telisa is known to demonstrate an incredible ability to conceptualize presenting issues while connecting with others. Telisa has a unique ability to be client- centered, solution focused, while being a strength-based clinician that promotes autonomy.
Throughout Telisa’s professional course she acknowledges the benefits of skill building using interventions such as; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) along with Trauma informed care. Telisa is passionate about correcting the negative core beliefs that at times plague oneself through self-sabotaging behaviors and Imposter syndrome that seemingly defies our authentic self.
From Intrapersonal to Interpersonal issues, at some time or another in one’s life there is some frame of reference that has led to strength, motivation and change. Regardless, if it’s prior, during or post the storm, Telisa has the experience to assist in processing current events or reprocessing life events.
