Daniel Villar, LMHCI
Daniel brings a multidisciplinary background and a lifelong curiosity about human behavior to his work as a therapist. Having lived in multiple countries, pursued different professional paths, and worked with people from diverse backgrounds, he has developed a deep appreciation for the many ways life experiences shape who we become. After years of dental and medical education, Daniel discovered that what he enjoyed most was not performing procedures but connecting with his patients. That experience deepened a longstanding passion for psychology and ultimately led him to pursue a career in mental health. He is currently a doctoral student in Psychology and remains deeply committed to understanding what helps people grow, heal, and find purpose.
Daniel's approach is warm, collaborative, and genuine. He believes therapy should feel like a real conversation—one that is supportive, insightful, and occasionally even humorous when the moment calls for it. He works alongside clients to help them better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and move toward meaningful change.
Daniel works with adults facing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, self-esteem issues, and trauma. He also enjoys working with first responders and individuals grappling with existential questions, death anxiety, purpose, meaning, and identity. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he welcomes clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or searching for direction, he would be honored to help you explore the path forward.
