Concerned about memory, attention, or changes in thinking?
Soul Ambition offers the RBANS cognitive assessment for ages 12 to 89. $250 per assessment.
Changes in memory, focus, or thinking can be hard to describe and even harder to measure. The RBANS (Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status) is a brief, standardized assessment that gives you and your therapist a clear, objective picture of how you’re doing cognitively.
Clear answers about memory, attention, and thinking.
Who it’s for
What it Measures
The assessment provides standardized scores in five areas: immediate memory, delayed memory, attention, language, and visuospatial abilities, along with an overall cognitive score. Because the RBANS can be repeated, it’s also useful for tracking changes over time.
How Results Are Used
RBANS results give you a clear, objective picture of your memory, attention, language, and thinking skills that you can put to use in several ways. You can share them with your doctor or a specialist to support a medical evaluation or referral, or use them to meet a request for cognitive testing before a procedure. They also set a baseline to compare against later, such as after a head injury, surgery, or medication change, so retesting can show whether things are improving, holding steady, or declining. Results can help you and your family decide on next steps, including whether a full neuropsychological evaluation is needed, and plan for support at home, school, or work. If you’re in counseling, they can also help guide your care.
